Collections: Western Germany Scarf Clips

I realised that I had a teensy collection of Western Germany scarf clips by accident after spotting one in a vintage Christmas pop-up store late last year and bringing it home to the ones I had.

 

From left to right -

 

From the X'mas pop-up store.  It belongs to my Mum now but I have a feeling I'll be borrowing it regularly!

 

This filigree beauty is actually a brooch I found at Portobello Road (ok, I cheated!) but it's also a German native

 

The first one in my collection which I found at a swap-meet.

The sweet lady gave it to me after I bought another from her

I, actually, just picked up another scarf clip from an antique store today!

 

Do you collect brooches or scarf clips?  I know of a few people who have amassed a decent collection of Mod enamel daisy brooches from the 60s and of a friend who collects insect ones.  If you do, is there a theme to your collection?
