These pics are priceless Aliya, they capture the era so well. Your grandmother was beautiful (bit like her grand-daughter!) Can't say much for her prizes though! My fave pic is of the contestants putting their lippy on.
Such beautiful images....I can see why your grandmother won...she certainly stands out amongst the rest...your so very fortunate to have these kind of pictures around...for you..and for your childrens children to see. ; )
I love that you posted these photos! They're recognisable in parts (60s fashion, historical documentation) but so foreign to me in others! The most interesting part is that you have a connection to the person in them.
Lovely post and you grandmother was so beautiful in those black and white photos. You should be proud that you have someone in the family who was once a beauty queen. By the way, I like the kebaya and the sixties intrigues me because it was my maternal grandmother's era (she is turning 80 coming November)

I'm in love with these photos. Especially the candid photo of them getting ready. It's so funny how a pillow was one of the prizes.
Your family is pretty darn cool.

I love vintage photos anyway, so that is extra awesome that it is your grandmother! And, you know, that she won. (:
